Therapy for Knee Dysfunction, or Overuse

Knee joints are major weight bearing joints. They absorb the weight and shock of all of your activities; including running, lifting heaving items, jumping, climbing, bending and just walking. You can develop knee dysfunction from these repetitive activities alone. We can help you regain the mobility and weight support that you want for every day living. With our therapy for knee dysfunction, we'll help you gain the most functionality possible.

At The Recovery Project, our certified physical therapists are committed to delivering high quality, one-on-one care to our clients in a function-based, detail-oriented clinic. We pride ourselves in having a diverse range of experiences and a unique perspective on treatment that you will not find from the orthopedic service from traditional orthopedic clinics.

Every client receives a comprehensive initial evaluation followed by an individualized treatment program intended to help our patients reach personal goals. These goals may include pain reduction, along with improvements in mobility, strength, range-of-motion, endurance and balance needed to return to the previous level of function.

The Recovery Project provides a variety of equipment, including progressive tools not seen in many traditional settings. These include body-weight supported systems and whole body vibration. When combined with manual techniques, our treatment programs are very comprehensive and adaptable to each client'sneeds.
